Ornate Cherub Giltwood Mirror

£995.00

Some mirrors quietly blend in. This one has rather more to say. With two cherubs perched beside a grand shell-shaped crest, sweeping curved shoulders and a richly decorated gilt frame, this large ornate mirror brings a lovely sense of theatre to a room. Give it a generous stretch of wall above a console or fireplace, and let those little characters do the charming.

The mirror is bevelled to enhance depth and light reflection, ideal for a grand hallway, salon or even above a mantelpiece. A really luxurious mirror.

Look & Feel

The mirror is ornately carved with multi-layered scrollwork and cherub detailing, and a gold leaf finish. It has a very ornate baroque design

Style Ideas For You

Try it above a simple console in the hallway, where the ornate frame can make a proper entrance. Over a fireplace, it creates a natural focal point; in a bedroom, it brings a little dressing-room glamour. Deep green, navy or charcoal walls make the gilt finish stand out, while pale plaster and warm neutrals give it a softer setting.

Very pleased with our outdoor lantern. We live in a house which was once the Globe Inn, and had a very similar lantern outside. It now looks like it did many years ago.
