Look & Feel

This is very much a “more is more” mirror, with an elaborate gilt frame, scrolling foliage, floral detailing and charming cherub figures worked into the upper section. The tall arched shape gives it a wonderfully grand, architectural feel. . It has the character of a traditional French or European salon mirror and works particularly well where you want one strong focal point.

Style Ideas For You

Try it above a console table in a hallway, on a tall wall in a sitting room, or in a bedroom or dressing room where the decorative frame can really be appreciated. It would look fabulous against dark painted panelling, and it can work just as well in a traditional country-house interior as in a more contemporary room where you want to introduce something ornate and unexpected.

In Detail

- It is a very ornate gilt arched wall mirror with classical decorative detailing, including scrollwork, floral motifs and cherub figures.

- The epitome of a statement mirror, the elaborate frame, tall proportions and decorative crest make it a strong focal point for a hallway, living room, bedroom or dressing room.

- The perfect country house mirror, especially the French-inspired, Georgian-style and other classic interiors. It can also be used as a decorative contrast in a cleaner contemporary scheme.

Materials & Care

Materials

Decorative moulded frame with a gilt-effect finish and inset mirrored glass.

Care

Dust the frame gently with a soft, dry cloth or soft brush, taking care around the raised decorative detailing. Clean the mirror glass with a lint-free cloth and a small amount of glass cleaner, spraying the cloth rather than directly onto the mirror or frame.

Colour Variance

Slight differences between the on-screen image and the actual product are possible as variations in screen settings, monitor quality, and lighting conditions can affect how colours and textures are displayed digitally.

We hope however, that the home ware and lighting products you receive will surpass expectations every time.

Very pleased with our outdoor lantern. We live in a house which was once the Globe Inn, and had a very similar lantern outside. It now looks like it did many years ago.
